New Tyler, The Creator Album Coming Monday

After releasing his October 2024 album Chromakopia with little advance notice, Tyler, the Creator, will be offering fans another big surprise in a matter of hours. The rapper revealed last night (July 18) that his new full-length, Don’t Tap the Glass, will be out Monday through Columbia. For now, no other details have been announced.

Fans leaving his fourth New York show of the week at Barclays Center in Brooklyn were treated to an installation outside the building showcasing the album’s imagery. Don’t Tap the Glass can be ordered in a variety of formats via a new web site dominated by strange renderings of Tyler shirtless and in red leather pants.

Chromakopia debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 despite an off-cycle Monday release. The album boasted guest appearances by Lil Wayne, Doechii, GloRilla, Santigold and Lola Young.

Tyler is on tour in North America through early next month, including visits to the Lollapalooza, Osheaga and Outside Lands festivals. He can also be heard guesting on the song “P.O.V.” from Clipse’s new album, Let God Sort Em Out.
