Chappell Roan Books Fall Tour, Teases New Single

Chappell Roan will complete a touring victory lap this fall with newly announced shows in New York, Kansas City, Mo., and Los Angeles, all while teasing a new single, “The Subway,” for release on Aug. 1 through Island.

The artist will visit Forest Hills Stadium on Sept. 20-21, 23-24, Kansas City’s Museum and Memorial Park on Oct. 3-4 and Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Ca., on Oct. 10-11. These are her first U.S. dates since the fall of 2024 and come in continued support of the previous year’s breakthrough album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.

More from Spin:

“I love these three cities so much and wanted the chance to do something special for them this year,” Roan says. “Since I started performing, I have always wanted my shows to be a party that everyone is invited to, and the only way to do that is to keep ticket prices affordable and away from scalpers. The Fair AXS ticketing process for these shows is one measure we are taking to ensure tickets end up in the hands of fans who actually want to be there.”

“With these shows we’re also giving $1 per ticket to organizations that provide resources and support for trans youth,” she continues. “It is so important that I give back to the trans community as they have given me so much throughout my entire career.” Ticket registration is open now. Cash App Visa users will receive a 10% discount.

“The Subway” will be the follow-up to “The Giver,” a non-album single released in March. Roan has performed it nearly 30 times since it debuted at the 2024 Governors Ball festival in New York.

Before the fall U.S. shows, Roan will play a mix of headlining gigs and European festivals starting Aug. 6 in Oslo.
