SK Telecom Fined $97 Million for Breach of Personal Data

South Korea’s largest mobile operator, SK Telecom Co., was hit with a 134.8 billion won ($97 million) penalty after a cyberattack disclosed in April compromised the data of about half of the nation’s population.
