David Byrne re-teams with one of his favorite collaborators, Brian Eno, on the new single “T Shirt,” which the pair co-wrote.
“T Shirt” didn’t make the cut for Byrne’s latest album, Who Is the Sky?, but has been played nearly every night on the in-progress tour in support of it. The song also features piano by Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes.

Eno produced such classic Talking Heads albums as Fear of Music and Remain in Light, and in 1981 teamed with Byrne for My Life in the Bush of Ghosts, which remains one of the more influential pop detours of its time. The pair reunited for the 2008 album Everything That Happens Will Happen Today.
Byrne is nearing the conclusion of the North American leg of his 2025 roadwork on Dec. 6 in Miami. He’ll be back on the road for extensive international dates starting Jan. 14 in Auckland.
