Big Thief’s Buck Meek has announced details of a new solo album, The Mirror, which is released on February 27 by 4AD.

Produced by Meek and fellow Big Thief James Krivchenia, the album also features appearances from Adrianne Lenker, who contributed vocals, Adam Brisbin on guitar and Ken Woodward on bass.
They’re joined by Alex Somers on synthesizer, toy microphone and an old piano, and Mary Lattimore on prismatic harp.
The album features a rotating cast of four drummers: Jesse Quebbeman-Turley, Jonathan Wilson, Kyle Crane and Krivchenia. Germaine Dunes, Staci Foster, Jolie Holland and Lenker sing as a choir on many songs. Meek’s brother Dylan Meek contributes piano, keys and vocals with Adrian Olsen on modular synths.
