Alabama Shakes announce first UK show for a decade

Alabama Shakes have announced that they will play London’s Alexandra Palace on July 3, almost ten years to the day since they last played live in London.

Tickets for the show go on pre-sale from 9am GMT on Wednesday (November 19), and then on general sale from 9am GMT on Friday (November 21) from here.

Alabama Shakes have also announced some European festival dates, so at their moment their July 2026 itinerary looks like this:

Friday 3rd July – Alexandra Palace, London
Sunday 5th July – Gent Jazz, Gent
Tuesday 7th July – Summer Festival, Lucca
Thursday 9th July – NOS Alive, Lisbon

Back in August, the band released their comeback single “Another Life”, recorded at Sound Emporium Studios in Nashville and produced by Alabama Shakes with longtime collaborator Shawn Everett. They are currently working on more new material for 2026.
