Rap duo Armand Hammer (billy wods and ELUCID) has teamed with producer the Alchemist for a new album, Mercy, which will be released Nov. 7 through Backwoodz Studioz and distributed by Rhmesayers Entertainment.
Mercy is the follow-up to the artists’ 2021 album Haram, which included one song co-produced by Earl Sweatshirt. Woods also recently released the album GOLLIWOG, while Alchemist surprised fans this summer with Alfredo 2, the sequel to his Grammy-nominated 2020 album Alfredo with rapper Freddie Gibbs.

Guests lending a hand on Mercy include Sweatshirt, Quelle Chris, Cleo Reed, Pink Siifu, Kapwani and Silka. Per a release, the album was “made out of blood and empire, children’s laughter, unpaid parking tickets and unkept secrets.”
Armand Hammer and Alchemist will celebrate Mercy with a one-off Oct. 23 concert at Lodge Room in Los Angeles. Gibbs and Alchemist are also touring North America this fall, beginning Sept. 20 in Philadelphia. Support will come from Swedish composer Sven Wunder, who will be making his U.S. live performance debut in support of his upcoming Piano Piano album, Daybreak.
