John Summit to Headline Colorado’s Folsom Field for Largest Solo Show of Career

John Summit is set to headline Folsom Field, the storied stadium nestled in the heart of the University of Colorado campus, for the largest headline show of his career thus far, according to a press release shared with EDM.com.

Summit, whose hits “Where You Are” and “Go Back” have become global dancefloor anthems, is no stranger to commanding iconic venues, having recently sold out Madison Square Garden and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The dance music superstar is now set to take over Folsom Field for the high-profile concert, organized by AEG Presents Rocky Mountains in collaboration with CU Boulder.

Famed for hosting acts like The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and Phish, the 50,000-plus-capacity venue in Boulder will provide a dramatic Rocky Mountain backdrop for what has the feel of a watershed moment for Colorado’s EDM scene. It’s beloved for its dubstep and bass music community, but Summit will bring his anthemic house sound for a night of electrifying contrast that could signal a bold new chapter.

The show is scheduled for October 18th, 2025. It follows the success of Summit’s recent two-day event in nearby Vail hosted by his Experts Only brand, which was recently named 2024’s best record label in EDM.com‘s list of the year’s top industry leaders.

Fans can now register for a pre-sale, which is scheduled to begin Tuesday, May 13th at 10am MT. The general on-sale will begin Thursday, May 15th at the same time.

Permit Issues Indefinitely Postpone Brooklyn Mirage Reopening

Brooklyn Mirage‘s planned reopening has been indefinitely postponed due to pending inspection approvals, affecting a series of upcoming shows, Billboard reports.

Originally set to return with a pair of performances by Sara Landry May 2-3, the New York venue was unable to open after failing to secure the necessary permits from building inspectors following recent renovations.

According to a public statement from the venue’s operators, Avant Gardner, the revamped Brooklyn Mirage is fully constructed and adheres to updated safety and technical specifications, but final compliance was not achieved in time for inspection deadlines.

“We want to be clear: the venue is show ready and the New Mirage has been built to exacting safety, structural, mechanical and technical specifications,” Mirage officials wrote on Instagram. “However, we were not able to meet the final inspection deadline.”

More schedule changes have followed as a result. The May 9th show featuring Loud Luxury has been postponed to August 2nd and tickets purchased through DICE will automatically transfer to the new date, with refunds available via their website.

Meanwhile, Cloonee’s May 10th day and night performances will be relocated to the Brooklyn Storehouse. Tickets originally purchased for Mirage will be valid at the new venue, with no additional action required by attendees.

The ongoing delays stem from a broader renovation project that included structural upgrades, a redesigned stage, additional dancefloors and enhancements to sound and lighting systems. The venue now includes over 3,000 LED panels, a 90-foot stage and one of the largest prefabricated timber structures of its kind, according to Avant Gardner CEO Josh Wyatt.

“I can tell you that when you walk into Brooklyn Mirage for the first time, you’re going to see a set design that will blow you away,” Wyatt told EDM.com in a recent interview. “Then when you come back two weeks or two months later, it’s going to look totally different. The type of technology that we’re designing to be able to allow us to do that is bespoke and has never been done before—I think it’s pretty mind-blowing.”

However, Brooklyn Mirage remains closed until further notice. According to a statement from Avant Gardner, the team is “working closely with city officials” and will continue to provide updates.

DJ Duo’s Musical Scavenger Hunt Hides Custom Easy-Bake Ovens for Fans Across Denver

Bass music duo EAZYBAKED took their name literally this week, blending nostalgia, art and community engagement through a series of Easy-Bake Ovens.

It started when fans discovered a series of GPS coordinates posted to the duo’s social media. Each pin led to a familiar Denver location that holds meaning in EAZYBAKED’s performance history, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Cervantes and The Black Box.

However, what fans found when they arrived at each location was anything but expected: customized Easy-Bake Ovens containing recipe cards with clues.

When pieced together, the cards revealed details of a new headline show. Each oven was uniquely hand-painted by artists such as Aaron Brooks, RUKU and Rumtum, among others others, giving the entire experience a one-of-a-kind artistic edge.

The campaign led up to the announcement of a milestone performance, EAZYBAKED’s upcoming headline of Mission Ballroom, which they ultimately announced as their “biggest show to date.” The lineup includes parkbreezy, Torcha, Cambot, jordnmoody b2b Snuffy and an opening set from The Bakers, a side project that longtime fans will recognize.

Tickets for the show on September 5th are on sale here.

REZZ and Chuurch Resurrect Long-Lost Fan-Favorite With Menacing New Single, “Telepathy”

REZZ and Chuurch have released a new collaboration, “Telepathy,” a track they started producing nine years ago.

Long teased in REZZ’s live sets, the song has finally been completed and released today via her own label, HypnoVizion Records. She most recently rinsed it during the sold-out debut of her “PORTAL” show at San Francisco’s Cow Palace, where fans were instantly drawn into its gravitational pull.

“Telepathy” embodies everything that makes REZZ’s sound so distinct, luring us into the sort of menacing midtempo arrangement that has become her signature. Chuurch’s dark and experimental approach adds a hypnotic touch, with ominous vocal samples like “open the closet door” lacing through eerie synths that swirl around grimy basslines.

You can listen to “Telepathy” below and find the new single on streaming platforms here.
