Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts will release the much-anticipated live document of last year’s Love Earth tour exclusively for Record Store Day 2026 on April 18.
The Live Album will be issued by Reprise / Warner Records on double clear vinyl in a limited edition of 6,000 copies. CD and digital editions are likely to follow in due course.
No tracklisting has been released as yet – the official text says only that the album contains 13 songs “that span Young’s entire career” and were recorded at various dates on the tour. However, online sleuths have deduced that the album will most likely include “Ohio”, “Harvest Moon”, “Daddy Went Walkin’” and “Cortez The Killer”.
Bruce Springsteen will also release a live album for Record Store Day. Live From Asbury Park 2024 is a 5-LP document of his homecoming show at 2024’s Sea.Hear.Now festival with The E Street Band. See the full tracklisting here.
Other intriguing Record Store Day 2026 releases include a 1978 Tom Petty live album; Suede’s Coming Up reconstructed from BBC sessions and live recordings; a reissue of Joni Mitchell’s For The Roses that restores her original artwork; and a 3-LP set of ‘Meditation Mixes’ of John Lennon’s 1970 ballad “Love”.
There’s also Slint’s Untitled (Albini Rough Mixes); Mark Lanegan Band’s Bubblegum (Original Draft); a BBC session from Lenny Kaye’s Nuggets Band; an unheard Heliocentrics / Sun Ra Arkestra / Bilal collab; and a brand new album of modern madrigals by Belly’s Tanya Donnelly and Come’s Chris Brokaw.
