The four-time Grammy-winner has announced his 13th studio album, <em>Flow State<\/em>, due June 12 via MCA Records, and instead of doubling down on arena-ready country-pop, he\u2019s diving headfirst into yacht rock. Yes, yacht rock.<\/p>\n<p>The project finds Urban reworking a suite of breezy soft-rock staples (Ambrosia\u2019s \u201cHow Much I Feel,\u201d Player\u2019s \u201cBaby Come Back\u201d and Robbie Dupree\u2019s \u201cSteal Away\u201d) alongside a lone original, \u201cWe Go Back,\u201d featuring the genre\u2019s patron saint, Michael McDonald. I hope wherever you hear this album you can feel the exhale, comfort and optimism these songs were originally written by and for.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Urban is slated to pop up tonight for a surprise show at The Mil at Cannery Hall in Nashville, with tickets only available at the box office.
