\n\tAfter getting in a spicy altercation at McDonald\u2019s <\/a>in April, Ice Spice<\/a> is showing her allegiance to another fast-food chain. The Bronx native starred in a new Wendy\u2019s ad promoting the company\u2019s sizzling chicken sandwich on Friday (May 1). <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI heard Wendy\u2019s upgraded their OG spicy chicken sandwich,\u201d she says in the clip. \u201cNew spicy?!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 26-year-old drops her Ice Spice moniker to become \u201cIce Spicy,\u201d and she\u2019s got an icy chain to match the new alias. The \u201cDeli\u201d rapper even got some fresh ink to commemorate the branding makeover, while the thumping production of her \u201cThootie\u201d single provides the soundtrack. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNew upgraded spicy chicken, only at Wendy\u2019s,\u201d she continues to close the clip. \u201cSpice recognize spice.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMembers of the \u201cSpice Cabinet\u201d seemed to approve of the partnership. \u201cThe collab we needed, now you see how McDonald\u2019s don\u2019t got anybody? Wendy\u2019s is the best to ever do it,\u201d one fan wrote to X.<\/a> <\/p>\n

\n\tLast month, Ice Spice had some fun with her viral altercation at McDonald\u2019s,<\/a> which saw her joke that \u201cthis wouldn\u2019t happen at Wendy\u2019s\u201d on X. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Bronx rapper was involved in a physical confrontation<\/a> in mid-April at a Hollywood McDonald\u2019s when she was slapped in an \u201cunprovoked attack\u201d without security present, according to her attorney Bradford Cohen. <\/p>\n

\n\tFootage of the incident, which was first posted by TMZ<\/a><\/em> on April 17, found Ice Spice and a friend being approached by a patron and the situation escalated after Ice rejected her advances. The rapper was then slapped and a melee broke out, which continued outside the restaurant. <\/p>\n

\n\tIce ended up getting into a separate argument with a male patron outside, which got physical and ended up with the rapper on the ground. <\/p>\n

\n\tIce Spice\u2019s attorney told\u00a0<\/em>Billboard<\/em>\u00a0<\/a>that they will be looking to \u201chold the perpetrators responsible for their actions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all criminal and civil avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions,\u201d Cohen stated. \u201cWe are also exploring holding the location responsible for their apparent lack of appropriate security.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSpice\u2019s attorney continued: \u201cNot to mention that the individuals involved obviously did not realize that we would get the video from inside the McDonald\u2019s where the unprovoked attack occurred. They then turned their cameras on after the initial attack as if to set our client up, and as they say on the video to \u2018go viral.\u2019 The only thing that will be going viral for them is their mugshots.\u201d<\/p>\n
