\n\tBeyonc\u00e9 is more than just a Met Gala guest: She co-chaired this year\u2019s event alongside Anna Wintour, Nicole Kidman and Venus Williams. The singer turned the gala into a family affair, walking the red carpet with her husband, Jay-Z, and eldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. Blue Ivy is notably one of the youngest people in attendance at the event; since 2018, the Met Gala has implemented an 18+ rule for its attendees, though it looks like they made an exception for the co-chair\u2019s daughter, who is just 14 years old. Beyonc\u00e9, Jay-Z and Blue Ivy stopped for photos on the red carpet together, posing as a family unit.<\/p>\n

\n\tMaking what was already a momentous occasion even bigger, Beyonc\u00e9 gave a rare interview with red carpet host La La Anthony. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis is the moment that everybody\u2019s been waiting for,\u201d Anthony said in introducing Queen Bey, before asking the singer how it felt to be back at the gala for the first time since 2016.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt feels surreal because my daughter\u2019s here,\u201d Beyonc\u00e9 replied. \u201cShe looks so beautiful. It\u2019s incredible to be able to share it with her.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tBeyonc\u00e9 shared that what she\u2019s most excited for is being able to see the gala through her daughter\u2019s eyes, and for being able to relax. She also shared what excites her most about her beautiful look.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m wearing Olivier Rousteing, who is someone that has been so loyal to me, and I\u2019ve done so many incredible, iconic looks with him,\u201d the star said of the designer, who served as the creative director for Balmain for 14 years before leaving the fashion house in 2025. \u201cSo it\u2019s really about representing him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAnthony and Beyonc\u00e9 also expressed their excitement to celebrate diverse bodies \u2014 a large part of The Met Costume Institute\u2019s spring exhibition theme of \u201cCostume Art.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe different juicy, curvy, thin, tall, whatever. Just celebrating whatever God gave you,\u201d Beyonc\u00e9 said. <\/p>\n

\n\tWith Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s appearance at this year\u2019s Met Gala, many online are speculating that she may use the event as an opportunity to announce Act III<\/em>, the rumored capper to an expected album trilogy that started with Renaissance<\/em> and Cowboy Carter<\/em>. However, fans shouldn\u2019t get their hopes up too high: The singer\u2019s longtime publicist responded to an X post by a fan account speculating that the Met Gala will launch the singer\u2019s Act III<\/em> era by saying, \u201cThis is unequivocally false!!\u201d At the time of publication, Beyonc\u00e9 herself has not yet shared anything about the album.<\/p>\n
