Egzod<\/a>\u00a0is back with a new alias,\u00a0Merage<\/a>,\u00a0launching the project with his debut single “Replay.”<\/p>\n

Known for his cinematic bass music, the DJ and producer isn\u2019t new to high-stakes electronic production. But with Merage, he’s swapped the dramatic peaks and valleys for the whiplash rush of drum & bass.<\/p>\n

Out now via Monstercat<\/a>, “Replay” is a storm of kinetic percussion and self-sabotage, with lyrics that hit like a Red Bull laced with regret: \u201cMy head\u2019s a mess, I\u2019m out of luck \/ I guess I\u2019m lost when you\u2019re around.”<\/p>\n

Like any great drum & bass track, it doesn\u2019t wallow, but sprints. There\u2019s power in the propulsion, especially in the drop, a cathartic release mirroring the strength\u00a0we all conjure when emotionally respawning\u2014just to get wrecked again.<\/p>\n
