\n\tSEVENTEEN<\/a> found their way back to The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/em> on Wednesday (June 4) to perform \u201cThunder,\u201d the lead single from their just-released fifth studio album Happy Burstday<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe off-site performance takes place in an industrial warehouse, and it starts with THE 8 answering a ringing payphone branded with the logo of The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/em>. He\u2019s then surrounded by his 12 other bandmates \u2014 S.COUPS, JEONGHAN, JOSHUA, JUN, HOSHI, WONWOO, WOOZI, MINGYU, DK, SEUNGKWAN, VERNON and DINO \u2014 as they quite literally answer the call to give a bombastic performance on Clarkson\u2019s daytime talk show.<\/p>\n

\n\tEach of the group\u2019s three units \u2014 hip-hop, vocal and dance \u2014 are spotlighted throughout the performance, as the 13 members switch places throughout to put different artists center stage for the stomping choreography in the wide open space.<\/p>\n

\n\tFor her introduction, Clarkson called SEVENTEEN \u201ca K-pop performance powerhouse\u201d \u2014 and she\u2019s had a front-row seat to this powerhouse before. Back in January 2021, the group hit Clarkson\u2019s show for the U.S. debut performance of their 2020 hit single \u201cLeft & Right.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHappy Burstday<\/em>, which was released last month to celebrate SEVENTEEN\u2019s 10th anniversary, includes solo songs from all 13 members for the first time, as well as three group tracks: \u201cThunder,\u201d \u201cHBD\u201d and the Pharrell-produced \u201cBad Influence.\u201d Timbaland also produced on the project.
