\u201cGodspeed\u201d was produced by\u00a0Brad Cook<\/strong>\u00a0(Bon Iver, Waxahatchee, Nathaniel Rateliff) and features spoken word vocals by songwriter and Youth Poet Laureate,\u00a0Kara Jackson.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cChannel Orange<\/strong> was my first introduction to Frank Ocean and I was just amazed at the writing and soulfulness coming from his voice,\u201d says Staples. \u201cAnd I loved Blonde<\/strong> when that record came out. That first line in \u2018Godspeed<\/strong>\u2018\u00a0of \u201cI will always love you<\/em>\u201d just crushes me every time I hear it\u2026 or sing it. It\u2019s just such a beautiful song and he sounds amazing on it so I was a little nervous if we could pull it off. I was honoured to sing his words.\u201d<\/p>\n
