{"id":3126,"date":"2025-06-25T15:05:20","date_gmt":"2025-06-25T15:05:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/watch-eric-prydz-holosphere-docuseries\/"},"modified":"2025-06-25T15:05:20","modified_gmt":"2025-06-25T15:05:20","slug":"watch-eric-prydz-holosphere-docuseries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/watch-eric-prydz-holosphere-docuseries\/","title":{"rendered":"Eric Prydz Launches &#8220;Holosphere&#8221; Docuseries About Development of Groundbreaking Production"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Swedish dance music icon\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/edm.com\/tag\/eric-prydz\">Eric Prydz<\/a> is pulling back the curtain on one of the most ambitious live shows in electronic dance music history,\u00a0chronicling the development of Holosphere 2.0\u00a0with the launch of a three-part docuseries.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/edm.com\/news\/eric-prydz-debuts-holosphere-2-0-ibiza-unvrs\">Premiered earlier this month<\/a> at Ibiza\u2019s cavernous new superclub <a href=\"https:\/\/edm.com\/tag\/unvrs\">[UNVRS]<\/a>, Holosphere 2.0 is a reimagining of Prydz\u2019s iconic spherical production that first debuted in 2019. Towering at a height of eight meters and weight of eight tons, the custom-built structure achieves what the DJ&#8217;s team calls &#8220;a razor-thin balance between engineering-grade strength and near-total transparency.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This show, the technology, and the size of it has never been done before, ever,&#8221; Prydz says in the docuseries, the first episode of which released today.<\/p>\n<p>Prydz collaborated with a team of visual artists, including celebrated VFX artist GMUNK, to capture 360\u00b0 visuals using crystal orbs, plasma balls and burning glass.
