{"id":3270,"date":"2025-06-30T17:07:20","date_gmt":"2025-06-30T17:07:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/artist-makes-terrible-songs-sabotage-ai-music-training-models\/"},"modified":"2025-06-30T17:07:20","modified_gmt":"2025-06-30T17:07:20","slug":"artist-makes-terrible-songs-sabotage-ai-music-training-models","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/artist-makes-terrible-songs-sabotage-ai-music-training-models\/","title":{"rendered":"This Artist Makes Terrible &#8220;Anti-Bangers&#8221; to Sabotage AI Music Training Models"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>A musician&#8217;s tongue-in-cheek war against AI music platforms has birthed a track so magnificently awful that it makes Rebecca Black&#8217;s &#8220;Friday&#8221; sound like Beethoven.<\/p>\n<p>Tucson-based musician\u00a0MattstaGraham has launched a new social media series he&#8217;s calling &#8220;Uploading Crappy Music Everywhere to Confuse Gen AI.&#8221; His terrible tracks, which he&#8217;s dubbed &#8220;anti-bangers,&#8221;\u00a0amount to perhaps the most spitefully clever approach yet to the scourge of AI music creation platforms.<\/p>\n<p>The music is designed to contaminate the training datasets that power\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/edm.com\/industry\/suno-ai-ceo-claims-most-people-dont-enjoy-making-music\">controversial services like Suno<\/a>, with the hope of degrading their output quality and making them less appealing to users seeking to bypass traditional music production skills.<\/p>\n<p>The series&#8217; first song, the gloriously titled &#8220;Piss Champ,&#8221; is a nails-on-chalkboard grenade lobbed straight at those companies. &#8220;I can drink like 50 gallons of piss, no one can drink more piss than me,&#8221; MattstaGraham rambles over what sounds like a piano in a washing machine.<\/p>\n<p>Calling the musician&#8217;s hilarious campaign a long shot is an understatement, but it speaks volumes about growing tensions within the community over AI&#8217;s role in the music production process.
