Tomorrowland<\/a> will debut a 144-square-meter installation dedicated to the late Swedish EDM icon Avicii<\/a> in 2025, marking a decade since his final performance at the festival’s iconic Mainstage.<\/p>\n

According to a media alert shared with EDM.com<\/em>, the memorial space will feature “never-before-seen images and audiovisual storytelling” designed to honor the legendary DJ. Avicii, whose real name was Tim Bergling, tragically died by suicide in 2018 at age 28.<\/p>\n

Bergling connection to Tomorrowland runs deep in the festival’s 20-year history. He made his debut there in 2011, surprising crowds with “Levels<\/a>,” his career-defining anthem that hadn’t yet been officially released. The track morphed into a generational dance anthem and has been voted the festival’s top song three times in the Tomorrowland Top 1000.<\/p>\n

To complement the physical memorial, Tomorrowland has partnered with Apple Music to release Avicii’s prized festival sets from 2012, 2014 and 2015 in spatial audio. The immersive format aims to recreate the experience of standing before the Mainstage during his performances. You can listen here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
