Emerging once again from the lab, ESSE<\/a> has released “Work It,” an industrial-strength club cut that tightens the screws on the producer’s growing reputation as one of the most surgical in house music.<\/p>\n

With “Work It,” ESSE steps into top form on the back of a track that’s heavy on groove. The track boasts a propulsive bassline that refuses to break stride, marching forward with a tangible sense of momentum.\u00a0High-energy vocal chops drive the rhythm into overdrive, giving the track a relentless feel without tipping into excess.<\/p>\n

The release is out by way of Tchami’s\u00a0Confession Records<\/a>. As the imprint celebrates its 10th year of redefining house music\u2019s contours, ESSE’s latest offering\u00a0arrives as a reminder of how far the sound has evolved and where it\u2019s headed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
