\n\tRauw Alejandro<\/a> scores big this week as \u201cCarita Linda\u201d climbs 6-1 on Billboard<\/em>\u2019s Latin Airplay chart (dated July 19), marking his 12th champ overall and third as a soloist.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cCarita Linda\u201d rallies 6-1 on Latin Airplay with the Greatest Gainer honors, given weekly to the song with the largest gain in audience impressions among the ranking\u2019s 50 songs. The single takes the lead after a 28% gain in audience impressions, to 8.7 million, earned in the United States during the July 4-10 tracking week, according to Luminate. The audience growth ejects J Balvin\u2019s \u201cRio\u201d from the top, which drops to No. 3 after one week in charge, through a 4% decline (to 7.7 million impressions).<\/p>\n

\n\tReleased April 10 on Duars\/Sony Music Latin, \u201cCarita Linda\u201d arrived as a standalone single following the release of Rauw Alejandro\u2019s fifth studio album, Cosa Nuestra<\/em>, which gave the Puerto Rican a second No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums<\/a> chart in November 2024. The song premiered during the opening night of his Cosa Nuestra Tour in Seattle, on April 5.<\/p>\n

\n\tRauw clinches his 12th career No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart in just five years since his first chart-topping hit, \u201cTBT,\u201d with Sebasti\u00e1n Yatra and Manuel Turizo (July 2020). With the latest achievement, Rauw surpasses Daddy Yankee as the male artist with the fifth-most No. 1 hits in the 2020s.
