\n\tIn a poll published Friday (June 18) on Billboard<\/a><\/em>, music fans chose the K-pop phenomenon\u2019s first-ever live album as their favorite new release of the past week.<\/p>\n

\n\tPermission to Dance On Stage<\/em> brought in 94% of the vote, beating out new releases from artists like Alex Warren<\/a> (You\u2019ll Be Alright, Kid<\/em>), Nine Inch Nails<\/a> (\u201cAs Alive As You Need Me to Be\u201d), Zach Bryan<\/a> featuring Gabriella Rose (\u201cMadeline\u201d), and Jessie Murph<\/a> (Sex Hysteria<\/em>).<\/p>\n

\n\tBTS\u2019 22-track live set features performances of various hits<\/a> from their 2021\u20132022 Permission to Dance On Stage tour, including Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers \u201cDynamite,\u201d \u201cButter\u201d and \u201cLife Goes On.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe seven-member band also released a digital package titled Permission to Dance On Stage \u2013 Seoul<\/em>, featuring footage and behind-the-scenes photos of RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook performing at Seoul\u2019s Olympic Stadium in March 2022.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe live album arrives as the Bangtan Boys prepare to officially reunite in 2026<\/a>, with all seven members having completed their mandatory service in the South Korean military. The septet made the big announcement during a Weverse livestream in early July.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cStarting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music,\u201d BTS said in a statement at the time. \u201cSince it will be a group album, it will reflect each member\u2019s thoughts and ideas. We\u2019re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe group added, \u201cWe\u2019re also planning a world tour alongside the new album. We\u2019ll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you\u2019re as excited as we are.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cother\u201d category took second place in the poll with 2.1% of the vote, while Warren\u2019s new album, You\u2019ll Be Alright, Kid<\/em>, closely followed in third with 2%.<\/p>\n
