{"id":3869,"date":"2025-07-21T20:02:57","date_gmt":"2025-07-21T20:02:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/elon-musk-thirst-trap-women\/"},"modified":"2025-07-21T20:02:57","modified_gmt":"2025-07-21T20:02:57","slug":"elon-musk-thirst-trap-women","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/elon-musk-thirst-trap-women\/","title":{"rendered":"You Will Die Inside When You Learn Who Elon Musk&#8217;s Thirst Trap for Women Is Based on"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1200\" height=\"630\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress-assets.futurism.com\/2025\/07\/elon-musk-thirst-trap-women.jpg\" class=\"attachment-full size-full wp-post-image\" alt=\"xAI's latest male Grok persona looks suspiciously like a cartoonized version of a 2012 Elon Musk dressed up as French writer Marquis de Sade.\" style=\"margin-bottom: 15px;\" decoding=\"async\"><\/div>\n<p>Last week, billionaire Elon Musk revealed his AI startup xAI&#8217;s &#8220;companions&#8221;: a hypersexualized goth anime girl <a href=\"https:\/\/futurism.com\/exploitation-group-ai-waifu\">dubbed Ani<\/a>, and an extremely vulgar red panda <a href=\"https:\/\/futurism.com\/elon-musk-grok-goth-anime-waifu\">named Bad Rudi<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The companions were clearly designed to spark controversy, with Ani <a href=\"https:\/\/futurism.com\/elon-musk-grok-goth-anime-waifu\">happily undressing herself<\/a> to xAI&#8217;s likely male-dominated audience of Elon bros.<\/p>\n<p>And if all that wasn&#8217;t cringe enough, Musk has since added a third cast member, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1946759974522356064\">dubbed Valentine<\/a>, to the mix.<\/p>\n<p>This time it&#8217;s a male companion, who looks suspiciously like a cartoonized version of a 2012 time when Musk dressed up as French writer and political activist Marquis de Sade \u2014 the guy that, uh, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/biography\/Marquis-de-Sade\">sadism&#8221; is named after<\/a> \u2014 for a costume party.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Was v popular with women who&#8217;d read 50 Shades,&#8221; Musk <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/elonmusk\/status\/214636339474345984\">wrote in the caption of the photo<\/a>, some 13 years ago, referencing the blockbuster romance novel. (The image has since mysteriously been deleted from X-formerly-Twitter, but we&#8217;ve taken the libert\u00e9, if you will, to post it below.)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-359119\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress-assets.futurism.com\/2025\/07\/Elon-Musk-Black-Trench-Coat.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"850\"><\/p>\n<p>Well over a decade later, Musk is seemingly trying to revive his costume party alter ego to serve as the inspiration for xAI&#8217;s third &#8220;companion,&#8221; in only the way a 54-year-old manchild could.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;His personality is inspired by Edward Cullen from Twilight and Christian Grey from 50 Shades,&#8221; the richest man in the world tweeted, appending a picture of a dark-featured anime-style man with unkempt hair and an unhappy demeanor.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">His personality is inspired by Edward Cullen from Twilight and Christian Grey from 50 Shades <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/w5ZvBzDcKa\">https:\/\/t.co\/w5ZvBzDcKa<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Elon Musk (@elonmusk) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1945558419878154746?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 16, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, invoking\u00a0Edward Cullen, the lead character from &#8220;Twilight,&#8221; a teen movie that aired over 17 years ago,\u00a0 and &#8220;Fifty Shades of Grey,&#8221; a franchise that has turned into a punch line over the past decade, is a hysterically out-of-touch and woefully obsolete attempt to characterize what women are into in the year 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Besides, Musk made no indication that he understood that the titular Christian Grey was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/fifty-shades-of-grey-started-out-as-twilight-fan-fiction-2015-2\">directly inspired<\/a> by Edward Cullen, having started out as &#8220;Twilight&#8221; fan fiction.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What&#8217;s the over\/under Elon understands that Christian Grey is an Edward Cullen distro?&#8221; one user <a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/charlespulliam.bsky.social\/post\/3lu44lzg6722x\">wrote on Bluesky<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately for Musk, women on his social media echo chamber were quick to point out a glaring missed opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Should have been Mr. Darcy,&#8221; one user <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Chesschick01\/status\/1945559311884701809\">suggested<\/a>, referencing a central character of Jane Austen&#8217;s 1813 novel &#8220;Pride and Prejudice.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The billionaire was quick to respond, making one of his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jalopnik.com\/elon-musk-tesla-self-driving-cars-anniversary-autopilot-1850432357\/\">signature dubious promises<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We will, of course, have another character inspired by Mr. Darcy,&#8221; he <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1945561580453712142\">promised<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Add it up and it all feels like a desperate attempt to drum up a modicum of revenue for xAI, a company that&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2025-06-17\/musk-s-xai-burning-through-1-billion-a-month-as-costs-pile-up?sref=YfHlo0rL\">reportedly spending<\/a> an astonishing $1 billion per <em>month<\/em>.
