\n\tIn a hilarious TikTok posted Wednesday (July 30), Lovato stands inside the dessert shop and lip-syncs to a snippet of their past self saying, \u201cI left that yogurt store and didn\u2019t get the yogurt that I wanted.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe video then cuts to the musician enjoying a cup of froyo topped with sprinkles while dancing around the store. \u201clove you bigg chill,\u201d she wrote in the caption.<\/p>\n

\n\tLovato\u2019s casual dessert run marks a momentous occasion. In 2021, the Camp Rock <\/em>alum beefed with the owners of that same frozen yogurt shop after accusing The Bigg Chill of participating in \u201ca society that not only enables but praises disordered eating\u201d in a post on Instagram Stories. <\/p>\n

\n\tShortly prior, Lovato \u2014 who has been open<\/a> about struggling with eating disorders and body image in the past \u2014 had encountered items that displayed their calorie counts on the packaging in the shop, something the star called \u201charmful\u201d while writing, \u201cDo better.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShortly afterward, the business\u2019 owners responded by stating, \u201cWe are not diet vultures,\u201d noting that the calorie information was intended to help customers with dietary restrictions such as Celiac disease. \u201cWe are sorry you found this offensive,\u201d they wrote to Lovato.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter some more back and forth<\/a> \u2014 during which Lovato again slammed the store for being \u201ctriggering and awful\u201d \u2014 the vocalist issued an apology video, a snippet of which they mouthed along to in the new full-circle TikTok. \u201cI am very outspoken about the things that I believe in,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cI understand that sometimes my messaging can lose its meaning when I get emotional. I am human \u2026 I walked into a situation that didn\u2019t sit right with me, my intuition said, \u2018Speak up about this,\u2019 so I did.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIt\u2019s not the first time Lovato has poked fun at themself over the yogurt debacle. In March, the musician posted a video in which she asked ChatGPT to \u201croast\u201d<\/a> her, and laughed along gas the AI system responded: \u201cDemi Lovato has had more rebrands than a failing fast-food chain. One minute they\u2019re punk rock, the next, they\u2019re singing pop ballads, and somewhere in between they\u2019re beefing with a frozen yogurt store.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLovato\u2019s latest trip to The Big Chill comes just a couple of days ahead of the singer\u2019s highly anticipated return to pop music. After spending the last few years fully immersed in the rock genre, Lovato will release <\/a>a distinctly EDM-inspired track titled \u201cFast\u201d on Friday (Aug. 1).<\/p>\n
