\n\tGhostface Killah<\/a>\u2018s sequel to his critically acclaimed LP Supreme Clientele<\/a><\/em> is on the way.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Staten Island rapper and Wu-Tang Clan<\/a> member dropped the project\u2019s first single \u201cRap Kingpin\u201d today and it doesn\u2019t disappoint.<\/p>\n

\n\tProduced by Scram Jones, the song\u2019s beat calls back to his classic single \u201cMighty Healthy<\/a>\u201d and Eric B & Rakim<\/a>\u2018s influential record \u201cCheck Out My Melody<\/a>.\u201d Meanwhile, the title is a reference to his opening verse on Raekwon<\/a>\u2018s \u201cIce Water<\/a>\u201d where Ghost raps, \u201cCheck out the rap kingpin, the Black Jesus\/ I know a few n\u2014as sniff coke and caught seizures,\u201d and Supreme Clientele<\/em>\u2018s second track \u201cNutmeg<\/a>\u201d where he says, \u201cYou fake cats done heard it first\/ On how I sh\u2014tted on your turf that time\/ Cuban Link<\/a><\/em> verse, yo, \u2018Check out the rap kingpin,\u2019 summertime fine, jewelry drippin\u2019\/ Face in the box, I seen your ear twitchin\u2019,\u201d in the nonsensical flow the album has become synonymous with.<\/p>\n

\n\tFans get some of the same vibes from Tony Starks on \u201cRap Kingpin\u201d as he lays down rhymes like, \u201cCascade Kids rock more glass, that\u2019ll splash you,\u201d and he says he has a Cam\u2019ron<\/a> gun with a pink nozzle along with bulletproof Spalding googles. Direct sequels already have a high bar to reach, but he\u2019s getting off to the right foot with this record, and it\u2019s something that he\u2019s aware of. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSupreme Clientele<\/em> was a frame of mind and era in time,\u201d he said in a press release. \u201cYou could never duplicate that feeling, but you can tap back in. We dug in files from years ago and pulled together a Clientele that is Supreme! Get ready, Supreme Clientele 2<\/em> is now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSupreme Clientele 2<\/em> is set to drop Aug. 22 and will feature guest appearances from Raekwon, Method Man<\/a>, Nas<\/a>, GZA<\/a>, Redman<\/a>, Conway the Machine<\/a>, Styles P<\/a>, M.O.P.<\/a>, and Dave Chappelle<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe project is part of Mass Appeal\u2019s \u201cLegend Has It\u201d campaign<\/a> where they\u2019ll be releasing albums from Slick Rick<\/a>, Raekwon, Mobb Deep<\/a>, Big L, De La Soul<\/a>, and an album from Nas and DJ Premier<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tSlick Rick and Raekwon have already dropped their respective albums Victory<\/a><\/em> and The Emperor\u2019s New Clothes<\/a><\/em> to mostly positive reviews.<\/p>\n
