Splice<\/a> is making Hollywood-grade orchestral tools accessible to electronic music producers through a new collaboration with Spitfire Audio<\/a>, marking the first major partnership since their acquisition of the British audio company earlier this year. <\/p>\n

Starting today, creators can access prized Spitfire libraries including “BBC Symphony Orchestra Professional” and “Abbey Road Two: Iconic Strings Pro” through Splice’s rent-to-own model, joining Xfer’s Serum as marketplace exclusives. The arrangement lets users pay monthly installments with zero interest until they own the full licenses.<\/p>\n

The move also democratizes access to professional orchestral sounds that have powered blockbuster scores for Dune<\/em>, Inception<\/em> and Call of Duty<\/em>, among other high-profile titles. One plugin, “AIR Studios Reverb,” was utilized in the development of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire<\/em>.<\/p>\n
