\n\tSpears\u2019 use of Timberlake\u2019s 2009 hit \u2014 which reached No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> \u2014 is sure to turn heads, considering the two stars\u2019 history. The pair dated from 1999 to 2002, and in her 2023 memoir, the \u201cToxic\u201d singer shared a few unflattering revelations about her famous ex-boyfriend, including how he allegedly cheated<\/a> on her during their relationship.<\/p>\n

\n\tEven so, Spears has supported her ex\u2019s music in the past. In 2024, she gushed<\/a> that she was \u201cso in love with Justin Timberlake\u2019s new song \u2018Selfish,\u2019\u201d and this past March, she shared a video<\/a> of herself dancing by a fireplace to the former *NSYNC member\u2019s \u201cSe\u00f1orita.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe performer\u2019s post comes a few weeks after Timberlake made headlines<\/a> for revealing his Lyme disease diagnosis in a message to fans shared just after the close of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIf you\u2019ve experienced this disease or know someone who has \u2014 then you\u2019re aware: living with this can be relentlessly debilitating, both mentally and physically,\u201d he wrote at the time. \u201cWhen I first got the diagnosis I was shocked for sure. But, at least I could understand why I would be onstage and in a massive amount of nerve pain or, just feeling crazy fatigue or sickness.\u201d<\/p>\n
