\n\tIf you\u2019re reading Billboard<\/em> right now, chances are you\u2019re interested in staying on top of the latest news about our hundreds of charts, what\u2019s happening inside the music industry, and the freshest songs and albums from your favorite artists.<\/p>\n

\n\tNow, instead of digging through your search results, you can make Billboard one of your Preferred Sources on Google and make sure that if we\u2019ve covered a certain topic, our articles will surface within your Top Stories.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier this month, Google rolled out the new Preferred Sources feature in the U.S. and India, so readers can select their favorite outlets \u2014 ones you visit daily, subscribe to or follow via social media \u2014 to make sure you see their stories first. If you want to select Billboard<\/em> as one of your Preferred Sources<\/a>, you can click this link<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 or, simply follow the instructions below:<\/p>\n

\n\t\t1. Head to Google.com<\/a> and search for a topic.<\/strong>\t<\/h2>\n

\n\tLet\u2019s use \u201cTaylor Swift and Travis Kelce\u201d as an example here, considering the news of this week.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t2. Click on the icon to the right of Top Stories.<\/strong>\t<\/h2>\n

\n\tAfter you\u2019ve searched for a current event or topic, click on the starred square icon next to Top Stories.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t3. Search for your Preferred Sources.<\/strong>\t<\/h2>\n

\n\tStart typing \u201cBillboard\u201d into the search field and it auto-populates after typing only \u201cBi.\u201d Click the checkmark next to Billboard<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t4. Press \u201creload results.\u201d<\/strong>\t<\/h2>\n

\n\tOnce you press the \u201creload results\u201d button, your new search results should include the latest from Billboard.com.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn this example, the results now are led with the news of Swift and Kelce breaking an Instagram record<\/a> with their engagement announcement, and the \u201cAlso in the news\u201d section is led with our story about Kelce and his Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes opening a restaurant with a Taylor-themed cocktail<\/a>.<\/p>\n
