And while \u201cEnd of Summer\u201d was said to \u201crecast Tame Impala as a kind of future primitive rave act,\u201d \u201cLoser\u201d rides a slinky guitar line atop a sexy, midtempo groove much more in keeping with the band\u2019s vintage sound. \u201cI\u2019m a loser, babe \/ do you want to tear my heart out?,\u201d Parker sings.<\/p>\n<p>The as-yet-untitled new album will be the follow-up to 2020\u2019s\u00a0<em>The Slow Rush<\/em>, which was released just weeks prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
