In fact, the singer\/actress\/businesswoman thinks <em>Inside Out 2<\/em> should be required viewing for all kids \u2014 including her own.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cI watched it with my sister and I completely sobbed because it\u2019s so factual \u2026 I almost feel like it should have been a requirement in school to watch that as a homework assignment,\u201d Gomez said on the podcast\u2019s Sept. 9 episode. She added that Gracie, her 12-year-old sister, also cried. It\u2019s part of growing up, but it\u2019s brutal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cIt is. I\u2019m gonna make my children watch it,\u201d said Gomez, who\u2019s not a parent now, but is getting ready for her upcoming nuptials to Blanco, clarified that thought: \u201cNot yet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cI know, I know they don\u2019t exist yet, but I can\u2019t wait,\u201d Poehler replied amid squeals of wanting to see Selena with a baby.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cThey don\u2019t,\u201d said Gomez.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tHer future children popped up again in conversation. The <em>I Said I Love You First<\/em> singer, who also stars in <em>Only Murders in the Building<\/em> and runs cosmetics company Rare Beauty, says she has a hard time telling people \u201cno,\u201d but that might change \u201cwhen I have kids.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cI feel like I owe a lot of people in the world any sort of smile, hug, picture, so it\u2019s very hard,\u201d Gomez explained. \u201cWhen I don\u2019t do it, I promise you it\u2019s because I\u2019m either really having a hard time dealing with my anxiety, or I\u2019m late, which I try not to be. But in general, it\u2019s a lot \u2014 \u2018cause I love doing it. I think about it too much. I\u2019ll think about if I missed that one person. It can get crazy in my head.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cI feel protective of you,\u201d Poehler told her. \u201cAs a women that is older \u2026 I think that any woman in her 30s is doing that thing where they\u2019re trying to figure out, basically, what is expensive for me with energy? You start protecting it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tGomez responded, \u201cI think that\u2019ll happen moreso if I, when I, have kids. That\u2019s been her life. She does have security on the streets \u2014 we all do \u2014 but she\u2019s so lovely with them and they\u2019ve been in her life so long. The only time I ever saw her get a little stern is when they were a little abrupt to like this 14-year-old fan of hers, and she goes, \u2018<em>Never do that<\/em>.\u2019 You can\u2019t fault her.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tMeanwhile Gomez recounted one particular on-set incident caught on camera while filming season two: \u201cSomeone said a vile word to someone else, and it was a photographer \u2026 I just looked at him and I gave him the finger. There\u2019s just one shot of me [giving the finger]. And he missed it. He\u2019s not even the one who got it. The other people started laughing, and I was like, I don\u2019t even care. I\u2019m just so \u2026 I can\u2019t tolerate this kind of stuff.
