News<\/a> when the reporter referred to Linn as the singer\u2019s \u201cfianc\u00e9.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re having a blast on \u2018Happy\u2019s Place\u2019 and so glad to be here tonight,\u201d she responded. In another giveaway, McEntire was spotted wearing a black ring on her left ring finger. A rep for McEntire confirms to <em>Billboard <\/em>that the couple are now engaged.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tMcEntire took the stage at the Emmys for the <em>Golden Girls<\/em> 40th anniversary tribute, for which she joined in to sing the theme song, \u201cThank You for Being a Friend,\u201d alongside Little Big Town\u2019s Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman. She also presented the award for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe loved-up pair started dating in 2020, news of which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/country\/reba-mcentire-dating-actor-rex-linn-9462280\/\">McEntire shared by way of her podcast<\/a> <em>Learning with Reba McEntire<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAfter calling him a \u201cvery, very sweetheart of a guy,\u201d McEntire revealed how the affair blossomed during the pandemic. \u201cWe\u2019ve been talking during the pandemic,\u201d she explained at the time. \u201cWe had dinner with Rex, was it in January? And then February, on it was the Covid pandemic, and we were talking, texting, FaceTime. And that\u2019s a really good way to get to know people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tMcEntire and Linn go way back, having reportedly met the set of the 1980 TV movie <em>The Gambler.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe singer, actress and <em>The Voice<\/em> coach split from her husband of 26 years, Narvel Blackstock, in 2015. Prior to that, she was married to Charlie Battles from 1976 to 1987.
