{"id":5245,"date":"2025-09-16T19:55:57","date_gmt":"2025-09-16T19:55:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/trump-fans-ai-plan\/"},"modified":"2025-09-16T19:55:57","modified_gmt":"2025-09-16T19:55:57","slug":"trump-fans-ai-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/trump-fans-ai-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"Trump&#8217;s Biggest Fans Furious at His Embrace of AI"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div><img width=\"2400\" height=\"1260\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress-assets.futurism.com\/2025\/09\/trump-fans-ai-plan.jpg\" class=\"attachment-full size-full wp-post-image\" alt=\"Some of Donald Trump's most diehard supporters in office are rallying against the president's embrace of artificial intelligence.\" style=\"margin-bottom: 15px;\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"><\/div>\n<p>Partisan politics in the United States makes for a generally contentious atmosphere\u00a0But these days, the mainstream rift isn&#8217;t just between blue and red \u2014 even some of president Donald Trump&#8217;s most diehard fanatics have become openly belligerent over the president&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/futurism.com\/trump-embraced-ai-exploded-deepseek\">obsession with AI<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Following the release this summer of president Trump&#8217;s &#8220;AI Action Plan&#8221; \u2014 a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Americas-AI-Action-Plan.pdf\">sweeping blueprint<\/a> outlining the white house&#8217;s strategy to ramp up AI development while slashing regulation \u2014 a number of far-right stalwarts from Marjorie Taylor Greene to Steven Bannon have ripped into Trump over his tech policies.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I have many concerns about the AI Executive Order signed yesterday by President Trump,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RepMTG\/status\/1948400163875152237\">Taylor Greene wrote<\/a> on X-formerly-Twitter, the day after Trump&#8217;s &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/presidential-actions\/2025\/07\/preventing-woke-ai-in-the-federal-government\/\">Preventing Woke AI in the Federal Government<\/a>&#8221; executive order.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My deep concerns are that the EO [executive order] demands rapid AI expansion with little to no guardrails and breaks,&#8221; the Georgia representative continued. &#8220;This needs a careful and wise approach. The AI EO takes the opposite.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And Bannon, a longtime Trump loyalist who briefly served as Trump&#8217;s chief strategist at the outset of his first term, compared the approach to &#8220;summoning the demon,&#8221; according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2025\/09\/13\/ai-is-opening-a-maga-trump-split-00534925\">new reporting from <em>Politico<\/em><\/a>. The former Trump aide also\u00a0made headlines in early September when he joined conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msnbc.com\/top-stories\/latest\/trump-big-tech-dinner-zuckerberg-cook-rcna229425\">scathing critique<\/a> of the president&#8217;s photo-op dinner with tech tycoons including Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There isn\u2019t a single Trump supporter who is going to be happy to see this photo tonight,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/lauraloomer\/status\/1963770145358143598?s=46&amp;t=MOrgn1OciSYSUInllbgRZw\">Loomer said in a post<\/a> on X-formerly-Twitter. &#8220;Zuckerberg and Gates belong in prison. Not at the dinner table with President Trump.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Candace Owens,\u00a0another formerly prominent personality in Trump media circles,\u00a0went a step further when she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/candace-owens-says-she-embarrassed-031428399.html\">rescinded her support<\/a> for Trump this summer, saying that she was &#8220;embarrassed&#8221; to have campaigned for the president during his 2024 election bid.<\/p>\n<p>While Owens hasn&#8217;t criticized Trump&#8217;s AI policy directly, she has blasted the tech in the past, calling software like <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RealCandaceO\/status\/1948787888876884461\">Elon Musk&#8217;s Grok<\/a> an &#8220;inherent danger.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Other political characters in the outer rings of the Trump orbit are also taking issue with the president&#8217;s embrace of AI.
