{"id":5986,"date":"2025-10-16T20:01:19","date_gmt":"2025-10-16T20:01:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/the-cure-new-album\/"},"modified":"2025-10-16T20:01:19","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T20:01:19","slug":"the-cure-new-album","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/the-cure-new-album\/","title":{"rendered":"The Cure Are 13 Songs Into A New Album"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.spin.com\/files\/2024\/10\/GettyImages-1258549692-scaled.jpg\" width=\"1290\" height=\"860\" alt=\"\"><\/figure>\n<p>It took the Cure 16 years to release a studio album after 2008\u2019s <em>4:13 Dream<\/em>, but it seems that Robert Smith and company are working much more quickly in its wake.<\/p>\n<p>In an updated band biography posted on the Cure\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecure.com\/bio\/\" target=\"_blank\">web site<\/a>, it is revealed that the musicians spent time this March at Wales\u2019 Rockfield Studios to record \u201c13 more songs\u201d for the follow-up to 2024\u2019s <em>Songs of a Lost World<\/em>. Death becomes more everyday. When you are younger you romanticize death, but then it happens to your family and friends. I am a different person to the last record and I wanted to put that across. It can be trite.
