\n\tThis weekend, Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> will return to the Saturday Night Live<\/em> stage \u2014 but this time, she\u2019ll be hosting.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn new promos for her double duty as host and musical guest on Saturday\u2019s show, Carpenter scoffs when castmember Marcello Hernandez asks if she\u2019s \u201cscared to host.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMe? I perform in front of thousands of screaming fans every night,\u201d Carpenter replies casually.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSo you\u2019re not scared?\u201d Hernandez asks, to which Carpenter responds, \u201cNo. I\u2019m terrified<\/em>. But not of hosting. Deep down, my greatest fear is\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAt this point, Carpenter and Hernandez share their identical greatest fear in unison: \u201d \u2026My dentist grows a really long beard and during the appointment it tickles my chest.\u201d The pair look at each other stunned and just walk away.<\/p>\n

\n\tElsewhere in the promos, Carpenter and Hernandez give a pep talk to any viewers who might be washing dishes, and Carpenter threatens to arrest the cameraman for being too hot \u2014 just like she does in the crowd on her Short n\u2019 Sweet Tour.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn fact, she previously arrested Hernandez, in character as Domingo<\/a>, at one of her Los Angeles shows last year. He was reprising his role as the seductive SNL<\/em> character who originated in a viral sketch last fall set to the tune of Carpenter\u2019s smash hit \u201cEspresso.\u201d \u201cMy name\u2019s Domingo,\u201d Hernandez said from the crowd to wild cheers, after catching Carpenter\u2019s attention. When Carpenter asks where he\u2019s from (\u201cI\u2019m from Miami, baby,\u201d he growls), she replies, \u201cI wish you were from my bedroom.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile it\u2019s her first time hosting, Carpenter was a musical guest in May 2024 and she also popped up on February\u2019s SNL50<\/em> special, duetting with Paul Simon and co-starring with Pedro Pascal in a new Domingo sketch. Carpenter is currently back on her Short n\u2019 Sweet Tour \u2014 though she\u2019s also promoting her August album Man\u2019s Best Friend<\/em> this time around \u2014 and she\u2019ll return to L.A. for six new dates, wrapping Nov. 23.<\/p>\n
