In era where American rock was dominated by self-doubt and dread, its message of assurance \u2014 even a hesitant one, from far away \u2014 was bold enough to survive in the public consciousness long enough to see a time in which resigned angst was no longer the dominant mode of cultural expression.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI knew with that song and the momentum the band had actually built up, that we were going to sell a lot of records,\u201d Creation Records founder Alan McGee <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spin.com\/2020\/10\/oasis-looking-back-on-whats-the-story-morning-glory-at-25\/\">told SPIN in 2020<\/a> about his first impressions of the song. \u201cBut I even got that wrong. I actually thought when I heard \u2018Wonderwall,\u2019 god, we\u2019re gonna sell 10 million, and we sold 23 million. I got it wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Morning Glory<\/em> was itself reissued earlier this year in a 30th anniversary deluxe edition, featuring new acoustic versions of several classic tracks. Oasis\u2019 2020 live album, <em>Familiar to Millions<\/em>, will also be back in the marketplace on Nov. 14 in a variety of <a href=\"http:\/\/a1.%20some%20might%20say%20(remastered)%20b1.%20talk%20tonight%20(remastered)%20%20c1.%20roll%20with%20it(remastered)%20d1.%20it's%20better%20people%20(remastered)%20%20e1.%20wonderwall%20(remastered)%20f1.%20round%20are%20way%20(remastered)%20%20g1.%20don't%20look%20back%20in%20anger%20(remastered)%20h1.%20step%20out%20(remastered)\/\">exclusive vinyl formats<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Noel- and Liam Gallagher-led band is winding down its massively successful reunion tour over the next several weeks in Australia and South America.
