{"id":6501,"date":"2025-11-06T15:08:00","date_gmt":"2025-11-06T15:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/journey-farewell-tour\/"},"modified":"2025-11-06T15:08:00","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T15:08:00","slug":"journey-farewell-tour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/journey-farewell-tour\/","title":{"rendered":"Journey Saying Goodbye On Final Frontier Tour"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.spin.com\/files\/2025\/11\/Lead-Press-Image-2026-cr_-Brian-Ach-scaled.jpg\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1708\" alt=\"\"><figcaption>Journey (photo: Brian Ach)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>After a 52-year run filled with some of the most familiar hits in mainstream rock history, Journey is calling it a career on the Final Frontier tour, which will encompass 60 North American shows beginning Feb. 28 in Hershey, Pa. <a href=\"https:\/\/journeymusic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tickets<\/a> go on sale to the general public on Nov. 14.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis tour is our heartfelt thank you to the fans who\u2019ve been with us every step of the way \u2014 through every song, every era, every high and low,\u201d says Journey founder Neal Schon, who is flanked in the Rock &amp; Roll Hall of Fame band by keyboardist Jonathan Cain, singer Arnel Pineda, keyboardist Jason Derlatka, drummer Deen Castronovo and bassist Todd Jensen. \u201cWe\u2019re pulling out all the stops with a brand-new production \u2014 the hits, the deep cuts, the energy, the spectacle. While this marks a farewell to one powerful chapter of the Journey we\u2019ve shared, I want everyone to know I\u2019m not done. Music is still burning strong inside me, and there are new creative horizons ahead. This tour is both a thank you and the beginning of what\u2019s next.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After a stint as a teenaged guitarist in Santana, Schon formed Journey in 1973 with keyboardist Greg Rollie and bassist Ross Valory. The group broke into the mainstream following the 1977 arrival of vocalist Steve Perry, who sang such favorites as \u201cLovin,\u2019 Touchin,\u2019 \u2018Squeezin,&#8217;\u201d \u201cWho\u2019s Crying Now,\u201d \u201cDon\u2019t Stop Believing\u201d and \u201cOpen Arms.\u201d Perry left Journey for good in 1998 and was replaced by a series of singers; Pineda joined in 2007 and has fronted the band ever since.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-here-are-journey-s-tour-dates\">Here are Journey\u2019s tour dates:<\/h2>\n<p>Feb 28 Hershey, PA Giant Center<br \/>Mar 02 Pittsburgh, PA PPG Paints Arena<br \/>Mar 04 Washington, D.C.
