Brown  \/ AFP)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>For the second year in a row, Kendrick Lamar is the top nominee for the Grammy Awards \u2014 this time in nine categories, including Album of the Year for <em>GNX<\/em> and both Song and Record of the Year for \u201cluther\u201d featuring SZA. Doechii earned five nods, including Record and Song of the Year for \u201cAnxiety.\u201d Producer Cirkut racked up seven nominations for his contributions to <em>MAYHEM<\/em> and ROS\u00c9 &amp; Bruno Mars\u2019 \u201cAPT.,\u201d which will vie for both Record and Song of the Year.<\/p>\n<p>Tyler, the Creator, Clipse, SZA, producers Andrew Watt and Sounwave and rising underground rock band Turnstile all have five nominations. Bieber, Tyler Childers, Jesse Wells, Paramore\u2019s Hayley Williams, Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton scored four a piece.<\/p>\n<p>Although he wasn\u2019t nominated for Producer of the Year \u2014 Non Classical, a category he\u2019s won three times previously, Jack Antonoff becomes the first producer\/songwriter to ever earn nominations in Album, Song and Record the Year with two different artists in the same year (Carpenter and Lamar).<\/p>\n<p>In Best Rock Album, Deftones\u2019 <em>private music<\/em> is nominated alongside Haim\u2019s <em>I Quit<\/em>, Linkin Park\u2019s <em>From Zero<\/em>, Turnstile\u2019s <em>Never Enough<\/em> and Yungblud\u2019s <em>Idols<\/em>. Best Rock Performance nominees include Amyl and the Sniffers (\u201cU Should Not Be Doing That\u201d), Linkin Park (\u201cThe Emptiness Machine\u201d), Turnstile (\u201cNEVER ENOUGH\u201d), Hayley Williams (\u201cMirtazapine\u201d) and Yungblud (\u201cChanges\u201d from the Black Sabbath farewell concert in July).<\/p>\n<p>Bon Iver, the Cure, Wet Leg and Williams each also received multiple nominations in the Alternative categories, with Tyler, the Creator scoring an unusual Best Alternative Music Album nod for <em>Don\u2019t Tap the Glass<\/em>, which was released just eight months after <em>CHROMAKOPIA<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, Nine Inch Nails\u2019 <em>TRON: Ares<\/em> banger \u201cAs Alive As You Need Me To Be\u201d leads the Best Song Written for Visual Media field, which also features the inescapable \u201cGolden\u201d from <em>KPop Demon Hunters<\/em> and Elton John and Brandi Carlile\u2019s documentary title track <em>Never Too Late.<\/em><\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_259-0\">Visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grammy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Grammy.com<\/a> for the complete list of nominees.
