{"id":6590,"date":"2025-11-10T17:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-11-10T17:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/sublime-album-anniversary-red-rocks\/"},"modified":"2025-11-10T17:00:00","modified_gmt":"2025-11-10T17:00:00","slug":"sublime-album-anniversary-red-rocks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/sublime-album-anniversary-red-rocks\/","title":{"rendered":"Sublime Revisiting Third LP In Full At Red Rocks"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.spin.com\/files\/2025\/11\/Sublime-Band-Photo-2025-by-Christaan-Felber-scaled.jpg\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1708\" alt=\"\"><figcaption>Sublime (photo: Christaan Felber).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Sublime will honor the 30th anniversary of their classic self-titled third album during an April 17-18 stand at Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver, and will perform the LP in its entirety for the first time ever at the first of the two gigs, SPIN can exclusively reveal. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axs.com\/series\/30221\/sublime-red-rocks-tickets\" target=\"_blank\">Tickets<\/a> go on sale Friday (Nov. 14).<\/p>\n<p><em>Sublime<\/em> was released in July 1996, two months after frontman Bradley Nowell died of a heroin overdose at the age of 28. Sublime\u2019s latest single, \u201cEnsanada,\u201d spent seven weeks atop the <em>Billboard<\/em> Alternative Airplay chart, and will be featured on a new album, <em>Till the Sun Explodes<\/em>, due out sometime next year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRed Rocks Amphitheatre is one of the world\u2019s most spiritual places,\u201d Gaugh tells SPIN. \u201cYou can feel the power generated by the Earth here! I can\u2019t think of a better place to play, for the first time, the Sublime self-titled album from cover to cover, than Red Rocks. One of our most magnificent albums on one the most magical stages, if not the most magical stage in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Adds Wilson, \u201cRed Rocks is absolutely my favorite place to play in the world. The sound is amazing and I can\u2019t wait to get back there and share this special event with everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sublime\u2019s other 2026 tour dates include the Innings Festival in Tempe, Az., on Feb. 22, Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio, in mid-May, and the U.K.\u2019s multi-city Slam Dunk festival on May 23-24.
