\n\tSince launching the highly anticipated 32-date tour in Cincinnati (Oct. 16), Brandy and Monica have been wowing their legion of fans from coast to coast. And L.A. was no exception. The R&B legends gave as good as they got from the elated audience, thanks to their estimable catalogs of hits and fan fave tracks during the sold-out show\u2019s six-act rollout. From Monica\u2019s \u201cDon\u2019t Take It Personal (Just One of Dem Days)\u201d and Brandy\u2019s \u201cI Wanna Be Down\u201d in Act I to their signature duet \u201cThe Boy Is Mine\u201d that closes out Act VI \u2014 plus more musical touchstones in between, including a tribute to Whitney Houston \u2014 the two women indelibly underscored their enduring cultural impact and creative influence.<\/p>\n

Among the stars in the audience last night: Beyonc\u00e9, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Queen Latifah and actress Jenifer Lewis; watch the recap video here<\/a>. Proving the ladies still love him, LL Cool J had women screaming their lungs out when he hit the stage to perform two songs, including \u201cLuv U Better.\u201d Also turning in surprise performances were O.T. Genasis, Blxst and Mario. The first night of the L.A. whistlestop boasted appearances by Kehlani, Ty Dolla $ign, 50 Cent and Miguel.<\/p>\n

\n\tOverall, the final night of The Boy Is Mine Tour in L.A. was chock-full of boisterous sing-alongs, rigorous seat-dancing and lively shout-outs. Warming up the L.A. crowd both nights were powerful performances by Jamal Roberts, Muni Long and Kelly Rowland. In addition to her solo hits such as \u201cDilemma,\u201d \u201cMotivation\u201d and \u201cLike This,\u201d Rowland peppered her segment with several Destiny\u2019s Child numbers like \u201cBad Habit,\u201d \u201cIndependent Women, Part 1\u201d and \u201cGirl\u201d \u2014 no doubt leaving fans hoping for a DC reunion tour.<\/p>\n

Subsequent stops include New York City (Nov. 20), Washington, D.C. (Nov. 30) and Atlanta again (Dec. 4) before completing its run in Jacksonville, Florida (Dec. 14).<\/p>\n
