\n\tSinger, songwriter, producer and director: the multihyphenate talents of Taylor Swift<\/a> cannot be ignored. With eyes on a full-length film directorial debut<\/a>, Swift has cut her teeth on many of her music videos.<\/p>\n

\n\tSince 2019, the \u201cFate of Ophelia\u201d star has directed 14 of her own videos \u2013 three with partners and the other 11 completely solo. Her albums Lover<\/em>, folklore<\/em>, evermore<\/em>, Midnights<\/em>, Red (Taylor\u2019s Version)<\/em>, The Tortured Poets Department<\/em> and The Life of a Showgirl<\/em> all feature her masterminded visual creations.<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd she\u2019s been heavily awarded for her efforts. Of her five MTV VMA Video of the Year wins, four of them were for videos where she sat in the director\u2019s chair \u2013 \u201cYou Need to Calm Down,\u201d co-directed with Drew Kirsch, All Too Well: The Short Film<\/em>, \u201cAnti-Hero\u201d and \u201cFortnight\u201d feat. Post Malone. (Her win for \u201cBad Blood\u201d was under the helm of Joseph Kahn.) And \u201cThe Man\u201d \u2013 her first solo directorial experience \u2013 took home Best Direction, as did All Too Well,<\/em> \u201cAnti-Hero\u201d and \u201cFortnight\u201d at MTV\u2019s venerable show. ATW <\/em>even earned the Grammy for Best Music Video in 2023, and \u201cFortnight\u201d was nominated in that same category in 2025.<\/p>\n
