{"id":7439,"date":"2025-12-16T17:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-12-16T17:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/finn-wolfhard-george-harrison-video\/"},"modified":"2025-12-16T17:00:00","modified_gmt":"2025-12-16T17:00:00","slug":"finn-wolfhard-george-harrison-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/finn-wolfhard-george-harrison-video\/","title":{"rendered":"Finn Wolfhard Animates George Harrison\u2019s \u2018Earth\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.spin.com\/files\/2017\/01\/GettyImages-182290958-1484667631.jpg\" width=\"4253\" height=\"4286\" alt=\"\"><figcaption>George Harrison at his home, Friar Park, near Henley-on-Thames, south Oxfordshire, circa 1990 (photo: Terry O&#8217;Neill \/ Getty Images).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Having recently signed on to direct a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spin.com\/2025\/10\/finn-wolfhard-replacements-film\/\">film version<\/a> of the Replacements biography <em>Trouble Boys<\/em>, musician and <em>Stranger Things<\/em> star Finn Wolfhard has directed the first music video for the classic 1973 George Harrison single \u201cGive Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth).\u201d The stop-motion animation project was meticulously assembled by 20 animators from Toronto-based Nobody Told Me Studios and Tye Down Pictures.<\/p>\n<p>The video shows a Harrison-like man moving through the fabled gardens of the late Beatle\u2019s Friar Park estate in England as he trims hedges, watches the sunrise, cavorts with gnomes and sails on the back of a goose. George Harrison has and will continue to be a huge inspiration to me, and his work will live on forever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Adds Dhani Harrison, \u201cFinn is one of the sweetest and most talented people I know of his generation, and he is the perfect person to direct a video for my dad. My dad would have loved this, and I hope his wonderful, creative, heartfelt ideas help this song reach another generation.
