That\u2019s how counterculture breaks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve skipped the last couple years of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ces.tech\/\" target=\"_blank\">CES<\/a> (Vegas the first week of January isn\u2019t exactly aspirational), but in moments of real transition, CES can be quite useful. <a href=\"https:\/\/adage.com\/events-awards\/ces\/aa-2026-preview-brands-agencies-cmos-omnicom\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>AdAge<\/em> is already forecasting<\/a> it as one of the most important industry events for marketers this year, so this year, I\u2019ll be gathering firsthand insights and potentially doing a recap here.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The intersection of tech, consumer behavior, hardware, and networking makes CES one of the few places you can still get a real pulse check on what\u2019s actually coming, not just what\u2019s being marketed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>From CES, I head straight into <strong>Wurman Shoulders Weekend<\/strong> in Miami, a first-of-its-kind gathering conceptualized by TED founder Richard Saul Wurman. I love year-one energy, and when the original architect of TED is involved, expectations are high.
