\n\tFetty Wap<\/a> credited 50 Cent<\/a> for being there for him more than anyone else in the music industry during his federal drug case, which saw him spend more than three years behind bars.<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing his release <\/a>from a Minnesota prison earlier this week, Fetty pulled up to The Breakfast Club<\/em> on Friday (Jan. 9) for his first interview since regaining his freedom. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201c50 did a lot for me,\u201d Fetty admitted. \u201cFrom day one, it was like, \u2018Whatever you need, just holler at me.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018All right.\u2019 Then [he] was like, \u2018Where this money going?\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018What?\u2019 I ain\u2019t used to that. I\u2019m used to it\u2019s always the other way around.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhether it was financially or just being able to hop on the phone and give the 34-year-old some advice, 50 was there and ready to help \u201cWhatever I needed, he was right there,\u201d Fetty continued. \u201cHe answered the phone. He didn\u2019t shy off all the way down to the time I\u2019m about to come home, \u2018How you getting home?\u2019 As far as financial and mental help, he was probably there the biggest.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSome of their conversations included 50 imploring Fetty to \u201cstop f\u2014ing up\u201d and how he \u201cshould\u2019ve never stopped making music.\u201d 50 was there for motivation as well. \u201cYou should\u2019ve kept going hard,\u201d Fetty said in his best Queens accent. <\/p>\n

\n\t50 Cent reposted the clip of Fetty showing him love on The Breakfast Club<\/em> to his Instagram, while welcoming the \u201cTrap Queen\u201d rapper home.<\/p>\n
