Bob Weir, co-founder of the Grateful Dead, has died aged 78.<\/p>\n

The news was broken on Weir\u2019s Instagram account on Saturday, January 10. \u201cIt is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Bobby Weir. He transitioned peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, after courageously beating cancer as only Bobby could. Unfortunately, he succumbed to underlying lung issues.\u201d<\/p>\n
