(photo: Tim Mosenfelder \/ WireImage)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>While Pearl Jam plots its next move following the summer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spin.com\/2025\/07\/pearl-jam-drummer-matt-cameron-steps-down-from-band\/\">departure<\/a> of longtime drummer Matt Cameron, frontman Eddie Vedder is making his maiden solo voyage across the Pacific.<\/p>\n<p>Vedder will play four theater shows in Japan this spring on April 14 in Nagoya (Forest Hall), April 16 in Osaka (Festival Hall), April 17 in Kyoto (Rohm Theater) and April 20 in Tokyo (Garden Theater). He also hasn\u2019t toured in a solo incarnation since the summer of 2019, as subsequent outings have featured his new band Earthlings with Andrew Watt, Josh Klinghoffer, Chad Smith and Glen Hansard.<\/p>\n<p>Traditionally split between his songs penned for Pearl Jam, covers and <em>Into the Wild<\/em> soundtrack material, Vedder\u2019s solo shows have evolved since his initial 2009 run to include segments with other musicians, including the Red Limo String Quartet.
