I was late to the party but during COVID I started collecting and have been obsessed ever sense. Whether it\u2019s post rock, electronic, soundtracks etc. Ruston\u2019s albums have always been a source of comfort and inspiration for me so I was very excited for this release because if I am going to listen to someone\u2019s lyrics, they are his. This album is just stunning from top to bottom. At this point in my life I\u2019m searching for peace and calm, and he delivers every single time. This album is a collaboration with Talos and it\u2019s just so hopeful and somehow haunting at the same time. Rival Consoles will take you on a journey to somewhere new with every listen. He is so good at choosing the sounds for his songs. It honestly blows my mind how minimal they can be in terms of featured elements, but somehow it sounds like an electronic orchestra of sorts. This EP just doesn\u2019t let up. They have been a huge part of my personal growth as a human being as I try to continually understand and improve who I am.
