\n\tOn Saturday (Feb. 7), the 40-year-old singer-songwriter took to social media to tease the title and release date of her \u201cfavorite\u201d track from the upcoming project, Stove<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI just wanted to make a little message and let you know that my new single, my favorite song [from the new album] \u2014 this is the one I\u2019ve been waiting for,\u201d Del Rey said in a video shared to her Instagram Story<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201c\u2019White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter\u2019 is coming out on the 17th,\u201d she added, without specifying the month, though it\u2019s presumably February.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe songstress noted that she worked on the track with producers Drew Erickson and Jack Antonoff, who \u201cfinally found that magical chord that I was missing.\u201d The song was co-written with her husband, Jeremy Dufrene, her brother-in-law, and her sister Caroline \u201cChuck\u201d Grant, with mixing handled by Dean Reid and Laura Sisk.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere\u2019s so many bits and phrases thrown in by other people,\u201d Del Rey said in the black-and-white clip.<\/p>\n

\n\tShe also revealed that a music video for \u201cWhite Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter\u201d has already been made.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe made the video, like just ourselves,\u201d she said. \u201cBut still, it takes hours and hours of editing and downloading, uploading \u2014 all that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAs for her upcoming 10th album, Del Rey suggested it could arrive in the next few months.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI know, you\u2019re asking about the record,\u201d she said. \u201cBut honestly, soon. \u2018Cause vinyl takes three months, so three months plus two weeks. It could be give or take a bit less than that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDel Rey first teased her country album<\/a> in January 2024 at the Billboard x NMPA Songwriter Awards, announcing that it would be titled Lasso and set for a September 2024 release. \u201cWe\u2019re going country!\u201d she declared. \u201cIt\u2019s happening.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe released the album\u2019s first single, \u201cHenry, Come On,\u201d in April 2025, at which point the set\u2019s title had changed to The Right Person Will Stay<\/em>. Originally scheduled for release in May, Del Rey postponed the set and later renamed the album Stove<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThey were more autobiographical than I thought, and that took more time,\u201d she told W<\/a> in August 2025, when the album was pushed to this year.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe majority of the album will have a country flair. Eight years ago, when I was looking to make a country record, no one else was thinking about country. Now everyone is going country! I\u2019ve asked myself, Should I retire all my snakeskin boots? Should I put my cowboy hats in storage?\u201d<\/p>\n
