The 2009 demo of the album\u2019s \u201cLost in My Mind\u201d is out now as a preview of the album, which features six other previously unreleased versions. We had songs and we had each other. Our roots had grown and we were about to begin a wild journey.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He describes the \u201cLost in My Mind\u201d demo as \u201cloose, imperfect and honest in a way that only first attempts can be. We\u2019re so excited to dust it off and present it to you today. Listening back to it, we\u2019re transported to that apartment, when all that existed was belief in our songs and each other.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Having just wrapped a stint opening for Brandi Carlile in arenas, the Head &amp; the Heart will begin a short North American tour May 1 in Nashville.
