{"id":9182,"date":"2026-03-05T05:44:58","date_gmt":"2026-03-05T05:44:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/baby-keem-new-york-casino-show\/"},"modified":"2026-03-05T05:44:58","modified_gmt":"2026-03-05T05:44:58","slug":"baby-keem-new-york-casino-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musictechohio.online\/site\/baby-keem-new-york-casino-show\/","title":{"rendered":"Baby Keem Drops In On New York For First Show In Three Years"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.spin.com\/files\/2026\/02\/Tour-Ad-Mat.png\" width=\"788\" height=\"691\" alt=\"\"><figcaption>Baby Keem Drops In On New York For First Show In Three Years<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>California rapper Baby Keem played the hits and tipped his hat to songs from his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spin.com\/2026\/02\/baby-keem-new-album\/\">brand new album <em>Ca$ino<\/em><\/a> at his first show in three years last night (March 4) \u2014 a gig announced just hours earlier at New York\u2019s 1,500-capacity Webster Hall.<\/p>\n<p>Keem rapped a few songs last month during a release party for <em>Ca$ino<\/em> in Los Angeles, but before last night he hadn\u2019t performed live since November 2023 with his cousin Kendrick Lamar at Tyler, the Creator\u2019s Camp Flog Gnaw festival. In a nod to fans who missed out, he stopped the show at one point to sign LPs before debuting \u201cBirds &amp; the Bees\u201d from <em>Ca$ino<\/em>, and then was flooded with requests when he shouted, \u201cwhat ya\u2019ll wanna see?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Much to the delight of the crowd, Keem chose his hit song \u201cORANGE SODA\u201d from his 2019 album <em>DIE FOR MY BITCH <\/em>as he yelled \u201cfuck a set list!\u201d From there, it was a mix of familiar and new, including\u00a0\u201chooligan,\u201d \u201ctrade mark usa,\u201d \u201cHouse Money\u201d and \u201cSTATS.\u201d The impromptu nature of the night was clear when he at one point said, \u201cI don\u2019t even have anyone backstage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Keem paused to screen the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=N8bI6FYLqgc\" target=\"_blank\">music video for the new album\u2019s \u201cGood Flirts\u201d<\/a> featuring Lamar and then debuted its title track. His cousin\u2019s pre-recorded rhymes provided another assist on Keem\u2019s smash hit \u201cfamily ties,\u201d which he stopped midway to shout, \u201cflee to the sides if you ain\u2019t \u2018bout this shit\u201d as the crowd went wild.<\/p>\n<p>Keem thanked the audience for its support and dubbed the night a \u201ccelebration,\u201d although he teased, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.spin.com\/2026\/02\/baby-keem-new-album\/\">ya\u2019ll gotta come to the tour<\/a>\u201d when a fan shouted for the song \u201c16,\u201d The evening came to a close with Keem hopping into the DJ booth to spin one last \u201cFamily Ties\u201d as the crowd made its way out.<\/p>\n<p><em>Ca$ino<\/em> debuted at No. 4 on the <em>Billboard<\/em> 200 late last month. It\u2019s the follow-up to the 25-year-old Keem\u2019s 2021 debut, <em>The Melodic Blue<\/em>, which was certified platinum for U.S. shipments of one million copies in the U.S., according to the Recording Industry Association of America. It spawned \u201cFamily Ties,\u201d which won the Best Rap Performance Grammy.<\/p>\n<p>Keem has kept a very low profile in recent years beyond a 2023 one-off single with Lamar, \u201cThe Hillbillies,\u201d and a collaboration that year with electronic musician Fred again.. on \u201cLeavemealone.\u201d To support <em>Ca$ino<\/em>, he will return the road April 15 in Raleigh, N.C., for nearly 40 international shows in support of the new album.
