It\u2019s basically Dylan creating some of the most iconic music he\u2019s made \u2013 while taking on the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition opens on July 18 and the Center promise an immersive, multi-media experience, showcasing artefacts including Dylan\u2019s own working manuscripts, rare audio, vintage promotional material and ephemera, unseen photographs and recently restored film footage.<\/p>\n<p>These examine Dylan\u2019s blazing creative journey across 1966 in unprecedentedly rich detail and depth. From writing and recording\u00a0<em>Blonde On Blonde<\/em>\u00a0and touring with the Hawks, to jousting with the world\u2019s media. \u201cIt\u2019s Dylan as spectacle, in a very combative way,\u201d Davidson says: \u201c\u2018<em>This is me \u2013 deal with it<\/em>.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Along the way, visitors will experience Dylan\u2019s emergence as a cool and at times combative rock star, rubbing shoulders with the likes of The Beatles, The Stones, Marlon Brando, Fran\u00e7oise Hardy and Andy Warhol, who captured Dylan in two iconic yet seldom-seen screen tests.
