\n\tStyles P<\/a> doesn\u2019t think he and Jim Jones<\/a> are in the same category.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen co-host and Harlem native KP suggested that Jim Jones had better songs than Styles P when it came to a Verzuz<\/a>, the Yonkers rappers respectfully disagreed and laid out the differences between the two artists.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYou\u2019re entitled to that feeling,\u201d Styles replied. \u201cThis is what hip-hop is about: You connecting with music that connects with you. If that\u2019s how you feel, I ain\u2019t mad at you for feeling that way. I f\u2014in\u2019 totally think\u2026 I know you\u2019re f\u2014in\u2019 wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe continued: \u201cMe and Jim ain\u2019t in the same league. Me and Jim don\u2019t do the same things. I am a bar master. I am a lyrical technician. I been on joints with some of the best MCs in the world: Big, Hov, Black Thought, Talib\u2026 I bar sh\u2013 down. If there\u2019s a lyricist or MC, I\u2019m one of their f\u2014in\u2019 favorites.<\/p>\n

\n\tHe then continued by saying he\u2019s got love for Jim and respect for how he came up in the game, but at the same time feels a little disrespected by the comparison.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m not here to make catchy hooks. \u2026 I don\u2019t knock that,\u201d he explained. \u201cI\u2019m trying to say some sh\u2013 that\u2019s gonna make your soul move. That\u2019s what I\u2019m into. So when I say a verse, if it resonates with you, it\u2019s gonna be some sh\u2013 that you may catch 10 years later down the line, so me and Jim don\u2019t do the same things. I have the utmost respect for Jim, for how he built his career. I love Jim, that\u2019s like my bro, but I think to compare us is an unfair comparison.\u201d<\/p>\n
